Try "Dj. Shadow" radio, very good for thinking games like this and KSP.

Re: Illegal copies and youtube
In the past I pirated much more than I do now, a combination of having more expendable money, games being better, and owning games through steam is just plain more convenient. I'd have to say, the legality or morality of it means virtually nothing to me. If a game has annoying DRM that makes me put ...

Re: Auto's Factory
Now that this has progressed to very late game, I'm finding myself terribly short on steel. I'm going to reconfigure this into more of a typical mainbuss plan. 1 full roboport tile will be dedicated to buss and rail. Science will be a 5-lab plan where 2 of the tiles will fit in 1 roboport area. I un...

Vehicles should get power armor slots
Title says it all. I'd love to put shields and lasers on my car. Or a roboport. The engine should produce a certain base amount of electricity from the fuel, making more reactors simply optional. exo legs obviously should not be applicable. Tank should hold more than the car. (already mentioned) The...

I think it's a matter of quantity.
Belts for the main grind of ores/plates. For shipping final products around it's bots.

Sure, the combat can be dull. We are dealing with predictable bugs.
But I could feel the same way about running out of ore and having to build out to another patch?
My point was simply that enemy camps will re-appear. The ores do not.

Re: Largest solar field - still not enough power
It's because your demand is excessive. Such pollution for a spread out area is impressive. Beacons are expensive in terms of energy, and using modules will easily double or quadruple energy usage of whatever you put them in. Just the beacon itself is what, like 500kw just to sit there? And a panel o...

I think it's kind of funny that the alien artifacts universally are regarded as valuable.. but it seems to me that it's the only truly renewable resource!

@AutoMcD It would be nice if you would share the error message you get, otherwise we are just guessing what might be wrong. Sure, sorry for forgetting that. http://i.imgur.com/PnoqJ32.jpg See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. **...

Re: Printable Technology Tree version 0.12
About half way through I realized that I should have made it out of Belts and Assembly Machines on a game screen. That might be a fun translation of it! I'm a very visual person so would prefer that type of thing to the schematic type document. Congrats on making one that does not look like a rat n...

Re: Just bought the game; What were Your first impressions?
I have a confession, when I first started and went through the tutorials I moved things by hand until WAY LATE because I didn't realize the belt in my inventory was conveyor belts. Mouseover just says "50 health" so I thought it was a health or armor thing, saved it in case I got attacked....

Admit it, you were just browsing for more screenshots anyway. http://i.imgur.com/vy9u5Vb.jpg http://i.imgur.com/P5snrFq.jpg Went shortly after that I went resourcing and didn't stop until the ore feed was saturated. Consumption dropped because the pumps went dry! Time to get the old train full of ba...

Re: Game keeps saying 25 objects are missing construction ro
Of course if you let the automatic insertion of robots into the ports run for too long, you can end up with a few thousand extra robots that you didn't really need . It'd be nice if there were a way to count active robots so that I could turn off production automatically :). This is why my as...

Re: [0.10.9] reassign pending construction robots with cargo
+1 I think it is a bug if the drone gets "stuck" and just hovers there indefinitely. That's not intended behavior, especially in cases where there's plenty of storage chests and everything. Not your fault if a build ghost expires and the bot can't just give up on the idea. Logistic or cons...
