what kind of blind person buys an indie game like factorio, the first of its kind, without trying it first? I think everyone has stated most the reasons why trains are better than conveyors in certain situations so I won't repeat them.

What I will say though is I'm a huge supporter of the train system & definitely hope it's developed more so I can build even more elaborate systems than I do now.

6 oil spots is probably enough to keep yourself in oil for at least 20hours play.

Just don't build all the jack at the same time or make sure you have a crap tonne of storage tanks ready as it pumps fast!

In my current world, I've got a similar amount(maybe one more) & it lasted me for 30hours ...

I have the same problem as you OP. I have really good intentions to lay my oil processing out nice & neatly & it usually starts well.

However, once I start having to make plastics/lubricant/processing my excess oils into other stuff, it usually ends up a messy maze of madness! :P

An increase in the length of underground conveyor tunnel could be good. Maybe up to 9-10blocks(similar to the piping tunnel for oil) so that we can pass under a factory a few conveyor lines but I don't see the need for an extended fully underground system.

The biggest annoyance with these bloody big worms for me is not killing them, it's the fact you get no reward of alien artifact goodies when they are dead. I'm right at the end of the tech tree and am having to go through more nests than I would care to admit to get the required artifacts for all ...
