Re: [0.14.5] Crash while game is paused
Could just mean memory corruption - something somewhere has stamped all over the memory that someone else was using, maybe due to a buffer overflow, or some duff pointer arithmetic; these are very common problems in C++, and unfortunately very hard to troubleshoot as the symptoms often have absolute...

Re: [0.14.5] Crash while game is paused
I do seem to get frequent crashes on pause since 0.14 and have had to load from autosave a few times. I'm off out a bit later, so I'll load up the savegame (i.e. the one I uploaded to DropBox), pause it then see what the state is when I get back.

[0.14.5] Crash while game is paused (SOLVED: caused by Raptr overlay)
Saved game last night before I went to bed (i.e. Esc -> Save game -> Save, then switch monitor off), came to computer this morning about 8am, found Factorio had crashed, log file timestamp 06:41 so well over an hour before I switched the monitor on. Mods listed in log file but I've also modified equ...

Could I just use chain signals everywhere?
So is there any reason still to use basic signals? Could chain signals be used throughout?
Or is there some logic that needs basic signals to be in place so that it will bottom out?

[0.13] Stop "Research Completed" flashing forever
Any chance this could be stopped from flashing forever? Maybe just flash a few times then stop flashing (but stay highlighted)? It's really annoying for that thing to keep flashing when I'm trying to work on other stuff. Yes I know TT will stop the flashing, it's still an interruption to workflow th...

Re: Train stations V vs H
I voted total redesign. It should be possible IMO to use one station blueprint in any of the four rotations (plus please implement mirroring, and blueprint naming so I can tell which of my 5000 station blueprints is north/south/east/west facing, unloading/loading to the left/right/both, for 1-2-1 tr...

Re: Friday Facts #114 - Better train conditions
Please add tooltips when a button is hovered for 1 second (or some time). This HELPS A LOT. Ugh no please I hate tooltips with a passion. If you really must implement them then please: - if there is a button labelled "Foo" then the tooltip should not say "Foo". I can see from lo...

Re: Balancing Steel Barrels in Oil Barreling stations
If your trains could go in either way then why not make them symmetrical, e.g. engine - full barrels - empties - full barrels - engine. Should solve the problem of not knowing where the full and empties are going to be.
