The first FFF were great because we were playtesting the game along. Can you imagine all those FFF without any release before 1.0 ?SHiRKiT wrote: Fri Sep 23, 2022 7:37 pm Of course this is not the same, but still the it was not 360 FFF saying "we're not ready", so yeah, that part makes no sense at all.

I love FFFs. But the reasons stated for stopping them are still valid. 50 FFF basically saying "we're not ready, soon" don't seem necessary. People, don't forget that FFF drained a lot of dev time

Maybe this thread could be moved to Off topic section ? It's never been about Factorio form the start, only created automatically by the forum bot. In Off topic section, the discussion could continue without taking the 1st place of every FFF threads on the News page.

To the price: I bought Factorio for 15 €. I I played around 6000 hours, which I think is a very good price per hour. :D
And as I understood: Factorio 1.2 will cost 30€. Which includes 1.1. Two games for one?!
Wube has always fulfilled their promises.
As stated before, 30$ or 25€, if they ...

It's nice to have some news about the expansion ! 30$ is a fair price.

And with the hidden "Artillery cannon" item only accessible in editor mode, you can shoot artillery shells with the character.

Nice rework ! It's simpler & better. Maybe the Construction robotics & Logistic robotics are a bit too look alike and hard to differentiate at first glance.
Generally I like how technology images are closer to item images.

Remember back in the days, fluid amounts were 10 times smaller, but were decimals. 100% richness was equal to 1/s.

Hi, large DLC sound nice, but Factorio 2 full 3D where you can mine your way underworld sound cool no ?
The thing is, as said by others in the past, 2D fits the genre so well :
- you can see all your factory easily, more than in a 3D game like Satisfactory
- building is so much easier
- all of ...

Great news. The big DLC option is one of the 2 directions I'd have been really happy with, the other one being working on a new game of another genre. Thx again for putting this game to this high quality level ! Can't wait to buy the DLC

I like it as is because :
- constant fuel consumption by nuclear reactor is additional challenge to tackle, it's good that it comes later when the player has more tools and knowledge
- i like the non-punishing aspect of Factorio balance : build as large as you want, your base will just work

Re: I need help with FPS stutter diagnosis
Good evening, and thank you all for answering to this post. I made some additional tests. Setting minimal CPU at 100% as FFF 261 linked by Bilka suggested had no effect. Changing atlas texture size as Deadlock suggested had no effect.
