Massive factory train layout good throughput
Hi, Im one of those people that doesnt like the main bus system. I much prefer modular factories with trains. Currently Im doing a Bobs mod runthrough waiting for the update to come out. "optimize the path finding code" Hmmm Im really interested in finding out how this works.... It does seem rather inefficient to repath when changing the rails. I had a very brief look for this, but couldnt see it. It would be really good to have for instance an inserter or a train station work if there were a certain amount of iron ore OR iron plates in the system for instance. This could be useful for other things too.

I dont know if other people have this idea, they probably do. How about having the train stations being able to read the logistics network so that they can turn the stations on and off depending on how many items are in storage. Really I would like the train to be able to stay at its loading station ...

Its looking great, cant wait to play it. Not sure exactly what is going on with the train station but Im sure I and others will have fun with it. Yey also for a safe way to cross those tracks, less taking your life in your hands and just going for it

Im probably a bit out of date with this comment. I think this could be an interesting and useful item. I doubt that it would be used much with trains because unless they are smart loaders they would be useless. If you had a train carriage loaded with ammunition etc and also ore you dont want to be ...

Upgrade to accumulators and possibly solar panels.
I have noticed that to get my factory going I have to have a very large area full of solar panels and another very large area of accumulators. To save space maybe there could be an upgrade to these items so that they could do double the job but in the space of only one item?
