Re: Version 0.15.12

Not updating until the 0.15.10 level of map-camera zoom is restored. Placing large blueprints is far too cumbersome otherwise. Maybe the design intent is that for large enough blueprints and construction work you should actually go to that location in person? Also it is a bit lame to make a demand ...

Re: Version 0.15.12

either there was an undocumented nerf to nuclear power and teperatures, or something in todays release broke it... cannot keep up temps at all. steam boils off and and factories die... Did you play much in 0.15.11? There were some changes to heat pipes yesterday. yes, even happens in my saves. temp...

Not updating until the 0.15.10 level of map-camera zoom is restored. Placing large blueprints is far too cumbersome otherwise. i really dislike the zoom to world level now as well. can zoom out farther in normal mode than you can in map view. this was the best feature of the new map view mode, as i...

Re: 0.15 Reactor Ratio

something changed with this mornings update. (0.15.12 build 29834) happened to start a new game yesterday and had started refining and gotten enough stock to start a new reactor when i began today. only to discover when i started that a single reactor can barely keep up temp with even a single boile...

new .15 fluid production ratios, what are your setups?

so, we all know that fluid containers, recipes, and productions went up by a factor of 10, which is great, but a few of the recipes were slightly changed, which killed the old ratios. i personally loved the 4refinery-1heavy craker-7light cracker setup as it was very compact and could just plop it do...

be careful when using the destroy button.

make sure you are holding a single blueprint and NOT the book...

Re: Friday Facts #187 - Space science & 0.15 graphics

I think most people just start a new game in 0.15 because so much stuff changed. It's more fun to re-discover everything this way too! :D that moment of flabbergastedness when i got to military science and not knowing ratios was great. also that "wait, where is the blue science recipe?!?!"...

is terrain segmentation on map generation ever coming back?

every map i make is ALWAYS covered with about 80% or more forests.
it really makes the early game unbearable with all the manual chopping to clear room for every single item i want to place

just to clarify, its great that the developers are concerned about 3rd parties ability to make better mods. but personally a big part of my decision about what game i might play at any time has to do with what achievements i have and what is left to do, its just what makes gameplay fun for me. it ha...
