Re: Starting a new game of Space Age - Mod Recommendation
The idea of removing spoilage from Gleba, *especially* before even trying it, seems very strange to me. It's like paying Pac-Man without the ghosts, or Space Invaders without the invaders. To each their own, of course, but I don't see the point of playing a game with the challenges removed. If you ...

It appears you haven't visited the other planets, yet. You have to visit them before you can interact with them.

Re: Agri science spoilage is not fun, just annoying.
I have to say, the idea of stockpiling science seems really weird to me. Why would you do that?
I DON'T WANT to stockpile science that EXACTLY what I complain about, currently you are FORCED to stockpile science cause a lot of important infinite tech doesn't require ALL sciences, and so you ...

yeah but the problem is you are forced to have research that use gleba science, it's mean while you rotate on other infinite search gleba science spoil.
IF you learnt what Gleba wants you to do then it also does not matter at all, because you have a constant and infinite supply of it. This ...

No need to make it difficult. You can easily kill the worms with

Re: How to upcycle?
Efficiency is always all of that combined. You can prioritize one or another, but that won't change the fact that that term has a pretty clear meaning.
Not true. https://www.wordnik.com/words/efficient
That being said, there are many ways to play the game. Play it however you'd like. There ...

Re: How to upcycle?
It's IMHO the best way, because it's easy to setup, efficient,
This is why the term "the best" makes no sense used here to me, because it boils down to personnal preference, it's not "the best way" it's the one you do.
If you define efficency with cost in ressources, calcite from asteroid ...

Re: How to upcycle?
For me, the best is the simplest. I'll just do a version of the image I posted above for each item I want Legendary, and forget it.

Re: Legendary Mech Armor
You can also just make regular mech armors, recycle them and re-assemble until you get Legendary. That's how I do it. I think it's a heck of a lot easier than having to deal with making all of the quality individual parts.
yea, I've been doing that, but it takes forever. Especially having to ...

I was right. It *was* the motherboard!
My original motherboard was a MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI.
I replaced it with a Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2.
Not only did it fix this crazy desktop crash, but it also fixed weirdness that I was having with my NIC, and weirdness that I was having with ...

From a materials perspective....
From a pollution perspective...
...rocket fuel should not be used for anything beyond rockets
Assuming, of course, you care about materials or pollution. Oil pumps don't ever completely run out. On Nauvis, pollution is largely irrelevant once you have ...

I love the spoliage mechanic. It adds a nice new challenge to the game.
Your main issue with agri science is that you don't follow what Gleba wants you to do. It wants you to create a constant flow of production instead of stockpiling anything and people have trouble getting used to it.
I agree ...

Applied the newest kernel (6.8.0-59 as of today), and still got this crash.
I'm calling it. It's got to be the motherboard.
I'll swing by my friendly neighborhood computer store and swap out the motherboard. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts, that'll fix it.

Re: Production Issues Due to Quality Imbalance on Fulgora
I just use as many input chests as I can (3-4 per assembler/EM), and go back and check them every few playing hours. I'm sure it could be done better with fancy circuit programming, but once you have a few chests as buffers, it happens so rarely that I don't worry about it.

No math needed.
And I think you're making it much too complicated.

Re: How to upcycle?
You should just recycle everything that isn't legendary. So whatever items you want should go into your system, and you should only get legendary out. More details (spoilers) below.
