My personal opinion is yes they are too hard, but then I'm not a spring chicken any more and have some issues with hand mobility and such which makes it artificially harder.

Alternate sources of energy (wind, oil and nuclear in particular) are my most wished for addition to Factorio closely followed by better defense/offense options without me having to get my hands dirty :P

Turret only ammo but allowing turrets to use normal ammo also would definitely alleviate some of the issues. I also like the idea of having an inserter with a solar cell to power it. Allowing normal ammo to be reused by turning it into piercing ammo is again another good suggestion, but keep the opt...

I think a large part of the problem with gun turrets is the ammo cost and size also. A magazine that only holds 10 shots? Maybe for pistols but for turrets or for the machine guns I want around 30. Piercing ammo? Still too expensive for what it is. Maybe adding a third level of ammo would alleviate ...

I like the current speed to be honest. The part I have issue with is I want to be able to create robots that go out and fight for me, I don't want to have to run around shooting the mobs all the time. I know we have the little robots currently but I find they aren't strong enough and don't last long...

I absolutely love playing the clean route. I mix solar and steam for the very early part of the game but as soon as I get automation going I focus on getting a large solar bank setup with accumulators to carry me through the night.

Agreed. I'm not sure if renaming the stations would be something I'm interested in but more logical names would definitely be an improvement in my opinion. The user names would be better with just the research units (or some other possible extra machinery still to come).
