Can you try disabling a hidden setting "stream-from-disk" (Ctrl + Alt + Click the Settings button, go to The Rest and search for that setting).

Well, if it doesn't help in any way I would try removing it and then try changing the output format (for example to 16bit/44100Hz).

I'm not familiar with ASIO4All, so I don't know if that would cause the issues, what are you using it for?
Are there any changed settings in the Realtek audio console? I see it also have a output format for example.

You've mentioned buffer rates. Where did you set those and what is it set to now?
Do you have any additional software that handles audio (some kind of control panel that came with your motherboard/drivers, stuff like that)?

changed audio drivers Do you mean the in-game setting of preferred audio driver or in Windows? There are two option for the in-game driver, default is wasapi which is shown being used in the log. Did you try the directSound option? Do you happen to have a different audio interface available to try,...

Music is defined in AmbientSound prototypes, so a mod can easily add/remove/adjust tracks.

Re: Audio/Sound bug when walking while zoomed in
Are you referring to the phasing audio at around 10-13 seconds in your recording? What exactly did you do at that time? Just walking, just zooming or both? It is the sound of the mining drill(s) and a doppler effect being applied to it with movement, so changing the walking sound volume does nothing.

Are you able to reproduce the crash, with a specific save for example? Or did it just happen once?

Re: [Donion] [2.0.9 with Space Age] Faint Crackling/Distorted Sound
This might be similar to what I've seen in 1.1.110. Whenever you use several spidertrons at once with a bunch of missiles via remote control and they all fire missiles, or watch a whole bunch of rockets launch simultaneously via the map. There's a very intense crackling/distorted sound that happens...

Re: Car sounds terrible in 2.0
If it is indeed the surface sound you can lower its volume (or mute completely) using the Walking volume slider in Sound settings. Just note that as the name suggests it will affect all walking sounds (player footsteps).

Re: Car sounds terrible in 2.0
Car and Tank play additional sound based on the surface they are driving on. Maybe this is the sound you're hearing?
Best would be if you could record a short clip so I could check if what you're hearing is intended.

Thanks for the report.
The issue was a variable music track playing while switching the preferred output not being stopped properly. It is fixed for the next release.

Re: [2.0.8] Cargo Wagon continually makes annoying noise in Map Editor
It's the sound of the cargo wagon door opening. When you place it in the editor when the game is paused the wagon stays in its door opening state and plays the corresponding sound. Technically not a bug.
If you un-pause the game for a bit, the wagon door will fully open and the sound stops.
