I think part of the reason why people turret creep is because its was the most effective form of clearing out bases, especially when you are pushing out your main wall. I've personally done both Bots and Belts for unloading and Loading.. Currently though I've found belts w/ stack insertions to fill my needs. Depends on what you mean by βpathβ. The problem here was that there was a big amount of biters waiting for the pathfinder to become available. I made it so that they'll give up eventually.

I have been playing around with belt scanner and haven't figured out anything usefully with it in pulse mode. In hold mode, I can make an input lane going into a splitter get priority but that is all I could think of currently

When I start off, I usually just scatter a few turrets around my base. Later on, I wall of completely, with turrets spread around the parameter, but with extra at the corners. Any place they repeat attack, I put one more there, and continue on that way. Also, try to start in a forest. Yes its a pain...

Seriously, thank you for having a Multiplayer Pause button. Pretty much every game out there refuses (for what ever reasons) to not allow a multiplayer game to pause. As a father with small kids, not being able to pause a multiplayer game with friends is extremely annoying. So again, thanks for that.
