This should now be fixed -- please let us know if you have a Mac build on 1.1.72 or 1.1.73 and managed to upgrade up, or if you ran into a problem.
Thanks for your dedication - the update works now as advertised :-)
On a PB Pro Monterey as well as on a MacBook Air m2 running Ventura

As a very, very long time mac user - thank you for this.

You could consider adding the 100% speedrun WR map (whatever it is at the time of testing) to your benchmark pool. Available and quite the nice test.
That’s indeed a very good idea

Re: Friday Facts #371 - Apple Silicon

I think $30 on App store would only be bought by those who already know (and like) Factorio and want to play it on the iPad or whatever. That only would be quite a reasonable figure, isn't it? To take Factorio on the road / train (a laptop is not always handy) would be attractive - given that, a di...

Re: Friday Facts #371 - Apple Silicon

Thanks - now its time to raise Factorio to the iPad (with keyboard) - is it? Last time I had to deal with releasing an app on the App Store, it was not allowed to run scripts downloaded from the Internet. If they still have this rule, that would mean no mods like on Switch, and it could also cause ...

Hello,

I recently got the game to play around on my Mac mini M1 and unfortunately the escape key does not work. I cannot open up the main menu with it. I searched the forums and tried to find posts but I don't see anything.

Help!
Funny - on my MacBook Air M2 the escape key works as it should

Yes. Factorio is an x64 application - M2 chips are ARM based. Rosetta is needed to emulate x64.
Thanks - does Factorio run well under rosetta?
A bought a MacBook Air M2 only bcs my old MacBook Pro 2016 couldn't run Factorio anymore efficiently :D

I saw at twich a game where a player used a two way stacker.
A stacker accessible by trains from both sides. Anyone having a BP or picture how to set this up, especially the signaling please.
