Thanks for your help. It works. The only strange thing is that zoom seems to be write-only. It gives an error if I try to read it, but works if I write it... see in doc-html/LuaPlayer.html there is a "W" instead or a "R". But then if I change the zoom using my mousewheel, I canno...

Hi, i try to write a mod that can zoom extra wide if necessary, so I use the instruction "game.local_player.zoom = zoom", but it says that this function can only be used when called from the console... So it's impossible to change the zoom setting inside a mod ? You can only type the comma...

I saw how to clean a map of all biters, or how to stop evolution with lua command, but I try to do the opposite, for testing purposes : is there a way to spawn a biter or any ennemi at a precise coordinate ?

definitely need this feature too, because the console is very hard to read, an sometimes truncated. I even wonder how MOD authors are doing to debug their mods ?... (if someone has teh answer, it's a true question)

Well it was the case yesterday, but it works today... I have acces to several past minor release, but not to 0.11orzelek wrote: A beta code? But anyway, under steam, the lastest problem persists : if I toggle one mod on/off, the game quits but does not restart as it pretend to do

Yes, maybe dev should take into account that some people with basic DSL connection have a 1Mb/s download rate but only a 80kb/s upload rate, so you cannot upload big files to steam so easily...

I tried to disbale steam cloud on Factorio only, and it seems to smoothen the things.
But I wonder what I lost doing this. Is you save map backuped on steam ? as your config ? I don't know...
