Re: [0.18] Sea Block Pack 0.4.7
Hello, I'm hoping to run a bobs/angels seablock game, but I enabled the new components/technolgy options on Angels Industries (never played with them before, not sure how new they are), and I'm not able to even start the game because I need gears to make an offshore pump? Is seablock supposed to wor...

Re: Glass works fluid?
Can't do natgas/crude oil in the early game because no pumps. I mean I understand that it's supposed to be a "big" liquid power requirement, but it's a bit prohibitive for the first few hundred science to be from tar/coalgas. Syngas, once you get it, is definitely a lot better, but I think...

Re: Glass works fluid?
Yeah something still feels really off about early game. I'm supposed to get 270 coalgas and/or tar for each glassware I create? (2 seconds of glassworks = 54megajoules). The only way to get coalgas and tar with no tech is to run raw coal through a DDC, and then run the small amount of regular coal y...

Re: Glass works fluid?
So I just came back to Pyanodons since 4 or 6 months ago. What has happened? Red Science is now going to take hours and hours to even make the first one? Glassworks requires TWENTY SEVEN MEGAWATTS of liquid fuel? I plugged it into helmod and that would be 800 coal gas per second to make 1 red scien...

[0.18.17] Mod Downloading - My game downloaded two ghost mods?
I had been putting off downloading some mod updates (pyanodons/bobs/angels) stuff because I'm currently playing Krastorio+SE and had those disabled anyway. https://imgur.com/a/I2Uxdy2 Well I finally was getting bothered by some leftovers, so I checked the box at the top (by name, you know, the "...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
So now at least the molten lead recipe at green science is SLIGHTLY more ore efficient than basic hotair, but it does still require borax, graphite, and quite a bit more power. 4.5MW + 20 lead ore + 17 foundries = 10 lead plate per sec (basic hotair smelting) 7.1MW + 18.67 lead ore + 20 buildings = ...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
dont use the silver solder recipes , and yes silver atm is a problem so use it as little as possible Yeah seriously. I saw that trap a mile away. I've also noted that soot can be turned into silver but the ratio is horrible (10 soot -> .3 silver), so that's really only helpful to use random byprodu...

Re: pY Industry - Discussion
Question for all you Py players out there: What's your favorite tile? Currently my whole base is covered in measly stone bricks which provide only a 30% speed boost. I am close to automating circuits 2 so I have a healthy infrastructure currently and am wanting to automate and produce massive amount...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Just some general context, high grade silver (available at lead processing 3) turns 0.08 lead dust into 0.2 silver plate, about 16x higher yield. So this seems like something that might actually be worth rushing. That's good to know. But you need a healthy amount of silver to automate circ2 and sci...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
Shadow, I agree with the change. I think that Circ1 being part of Sci2 makes sense. Automating circ1 is very important.
However, I do think Sci2 should be made slightly cheaper in other areas to compensate for the increased cost.

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
https://i.imgur.com/LlUkCTt.png Pyanodon, Can I formally request a silver boost? This is pretty crazy expensive that to get .2 silver (needed for 1 circuit 2), I need 34 lead miners and 85 acetylene per second! That's almost 7 gasifiers to make acetylene! Even if silver had double the output, I sti...

Re: pY Alien Life - Discussion
No complaints about the delay from me. But it would've been nice to hear from you or kingarthur at some point in November about the chance of a delay. Some folks have been postponing starting saves or even continuing existing saves in anticipation of this. WE cant barely know that because were mess...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
Does sci2 just require circ1 IN ADDITION? Or instead of something? Sci2 was already pretty expensive IMO and I would hope if adding circ1, something else would be reduced a bit to compensate. In addition; 1 circuit1 per six, plus everything else it took before. If the rubber amount were reduced I w...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Yeah I mean I'm not complaining about all the slacked lime but as mentioned, 1 gasifier running full tilt making acetylene is barely enough for a decent amount of lead. And once you want to do silver, you have to get a MASSIVE amount of acetylene per silver. IIRC it's like 1 silver plate takes rough...

Yeah could you explain exactly what has changed? Trying to decide if u want to update as well. Is it mostly the same but involves circuits 1? Or lots of changes?

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Yeah lead ore with hot air is MORE efficient than the process unlocked with either red or green science. Seems weird to me. I would hope lead 02 would be more productive. Honestly I think a slight increase in lead dust output would be a good idea, as that would help silver production a little as wel...

Way to browse recipes/technologies outside of game?
Good day all,
Does anyone know of a way to export recipes and/or technologies to some sort of database or program outside of factorio where I could browse recipes, almost like FNEI, but not in game? Ideally a web browser. I'm not even sure if this is possible.
Thanks,

Makes sense.
A little bit annoying that it can't just be 1mj though for my ocd lol.
