didn't saw it yet, but if you play with mods and want to use alot of trains, go with LTN .... makes live so much easier. One of the garbage stations in the LTN station threads is mine, so i can explain :D Its a normal provider station from the bluebook with all the LTN stations plus the filter by Optera, so you can filter out the fuel that you deliver to depots. Otherwise you create endless loops. If you use the depot...

EDIT: Figured it out. looks like my minimum threshold has to be -200, then it worked fine. Can it not use less than that? A bit compacter but you need ALOT of underground belt. You can put as many next to each other as you need and overlap the beacon. I use at the moment 56 of these rows for IronPlate production.

I also have a chest filled with 1000 Steam Engines and another one with almost as many boilers sitting around for almost a year now ever since Nuclear Power. there is a blueprint book with all kind of stations for LTN, also for fluids. There you might be able to steal an idea :D I only use that book.

i have multiple blocks, at the moment 9 , each with 10 depots for l-cccc-l and one for 10 tanker. Each block is named depotX where X is 1-9. So i see always how many trains are in each depot.

How do you prevent clocking of your tracks before/after depot if you centralice it in one place?

i use buffer chests when i have to landfill a bigger lake. That takes time and i need to check on my base in between. So i place a buffer chest ( or multiple) near the edge i will fill next and request the landfill. When i'm back , the chest will be full and the robots will immediatly fill up my inv...

well, sometimes the point of mining is , that the ore field disappears... if you start a map with horrible ore settings and you have thousands of little patches and no place to build, then you want them to be gone. Building over them is not an option!! :D Which gives another challenge: harvest enoug...
