Re: [0.10.3] Underground express belts do not require lubric
Look again - they don't :-)
Underground express belts require fast express belts and gears.

Forgotten
The Player: 30k stone. That'll do nicely!
The drill to furnace to wall assembler, a most lonesome of outposts
dotted around with no friends to be seen.
Their only connection to the hive
a single, rusting electricity pole.
Delivering to a chest never to be collected by human hands.

[0.10.3] Underground express belts do not require lubricant
The recipe for underground express belts does not require any lubricant. This strikes me as a bug as it is logical that express belting requires lubricant as an aspect of the technology tree, and underground belts shouldn't be an exception to this requirement.

Re: [0.10.3] Logistic bots delivering too many items to play
This bug happens even if the Character Inventory Slots have the same "quantity requested" over time. I have my circuits set to 200, and haven't changed it for the whole game, yet I'm still delivered 200-203 items.

[0.10.3][kovar] Logistics delivered too many items to player
Since 0.10.3's logistics tweaks, I am being given slightly more items than requested. At the moment in my inventory I have 202 circuits, 102 iron gears and...oh wait. STILL NOT ENOUGH SPEED 3 MODULES ;->

Well Assemblers, it's Microsoft's Patch Tuesday. You'll be glad to hear that Microsoft recently improved their Windows Update software. Here's a screenshot of the new version.

Re: [0.10.0] Crash to desktop while auto placing power poles
PS. I was not aware that we have symbol information included in the binary. I will discuss leaving it there with others - especially seeing that it has been useful for you guys to pretty much come up with the solution to the bug report.

I tend to use Productivity modules until the jack hits 0.1% then Speed modules - and beacons if there is a good use case for them.

Re: wow that train nerf. (stack size changes)
As logic bots tend to over-supply the player I have to carry a much smaller item count than I did before to prevent having one too many delivered (thus an extra slot used). I use to have roads, some boards, walls set to 60. The bots would usually supply 61-64 which was fine. Now I have to set it to ...

Re: [0.10.0] Crash whilst fighting biters (Breakpoint hit))
Another crash with a slightly different windbg analysis. This time I wasn't firing the shotgun or deploying any capsules (but had a few dozen in use)...so they're ruled out.

Downloads do not resume
malcolm2073 and I have both found that the download links, once logged in, do not support resuming (IE11 or Firefox). For a file of 100MB or so, resuming can be very helpful for those with slow/unreliable Internet.

Re: [0.10.0] Crash to desktop while auto placing power poles
I wonder if this bug has the same cause. Maybe I'm trying to put down a capsule and there's a reason it cannot be placed?ficolas wrote:I think it crashes when there is an entity where the power pole should be placed.

Help page bug reporting links broken
All three of the links are broken on the help page at http://www.factorio.com/help under the section "The game crashes / I can't play / I found a bug". Some of the forum stickies also refer to 0.9.8 as the current unstable version.

Re: Friday Facts #29 So many ideas
Hi! I participate in an open source game which is hosted on https://launchpad.net/ Launchpad. Their bug tracking system also doubles-up as a feature request database where people can add their interest to particular features and the developers can provide feedback on each idea and log its progress ...
