Re: [0.10.9] Logistic robots forget about deconstructing
Yup. I set up this save to make sure the construction bots had no queue before I started, and they were in a lone roboport unconnected to the wider network.

Lazy bots.
They came out, did some work on the walls, recharged then went back in the roboport for lunch. Propose giving lazy bots a high-visibility jacket and a clipboard, to differentiate them from the hard-working bots.

Re: My spawn point is an Island (40h gameplay). Want a Bridg
Wow, that is one gorgeous map! Care to share the seed? I think using a mod to make a bridge is not a cheat. If you want to make it fair, give each of the small crossing points a number. Generate a random number between 1 and the total number, and only create a bridge at that point. Promise yourself ...

Just don't mention the barrel! I mentioned the barrel earlier, but I think I got away with it. *wipes browBlackence wrote:I do admit I also send comments about these little things like fast corners etc. from time to time

Re: The Hydra Dilemma - A Coop Factorio Playthrough!
Seriously, how many times do we have to ask you to stop telling the Hydras what to do? Like paragraphs and every detail? Sit back and enjoy the hilarity. If you wanna give gameplay tips, fine. But quit writing walls of text with every single thing they're doing wrong. Because they're doing two thing...

I wouldn't have blamed you if you just passed it back to Fish to fix. I love being at the end of a practical joke but that one went a bit too far.FKODgaming wrote:Basically recorded an entire episode before i got the joke.

Re: 10.8 windows 64bit Installer and zip eaten by Norton
Note: To prevent false positive detections we strongly recommend vendors to digitally sign their software with a class 3 digital certificate. That makes sense, since it'll tie all factorio versions (mutations, as they might see) to one certificate. Yesterday I was testing out an installer that clai...

Woo! Facts! Great to hear about your efforts and passion for code efficiency. It's a sign of people who know what they're doing and a project that is being managed well. That being said, we don't want to hear you saying that "there isn't much progress", it's an almost British level of self...

Re: Can I truly trust these developers?
You'll find out how much you trust Steam when you have to ask Valve for help :-)
I can most definitely vouch for the developers. Take a read of the past Friday Facts posts, check out the bug report sub-forums. You'll see how good the support is here. Join us!

Re: The Hydra Dilemma - A Coop Factorio Playthrough!
Will you stop giving the game away! Where's the fun if someone's set-up isn't subtly damaged and no-one notices for six games? That is half the fun of this series...us as the viewers knowing the changes, and them as the players having to figure it out! I think the viewers and commentators need to st...

Re: Effective use of poison capsules
Slow-down capsules help this strategy - run in and get a nice tail of biters, then give them a few slow-down capsules and they turn into a snail's pace, blocking each other and the other biters that might not be affected. Then poison and shotty away. Fun times!
