Re: Friday Facts #53 Multikulti Mutliplayer

I would just to say, that I love how open you are with the development cycle. I'm in school for programming myself, and when I see the many different challenges you face, I often stop reading and try to figure out how I would solve it before looking on at what you've done. It's also a great way to ...

Ssssh!

Will you all please be quiet and stop posting on the forums. I'm listening out for this week's Friday Facts and I can't hear above the ruckus.

Re: The Hydra Dilemma - A Coop Factorio Playthrough!

A better way to understand the base is to load up the save game from the last episode a player submitted. Spend maybe 30 minutes just understanding where resources are going and where manufactured goods come from. Or just play exactly as they have been playing, enjoying the challenge and the foible...

Infectum, I highly recommend you review the combat footage while reading through his analysis.

Confirmed bug here as well. Factorio always used to open on the correct, primary monitor in fullscreen, now it does not, whether I set the index to 0 or 1. (Or 2).

Re: [0.10.12] Deconstructing a belt exit

I noticed this bug last night as well; with Express Belts it will keep the construction bots busy as long as there's supply. I assume that they should "stop", like belts do, when painted with a deconstruction template. I'm glad you reported it so jeroon doesn't blame me again! I also find ...

Just remember kids: Always manage your rolling stock in the train yard. Doing shunting out in the wild is dangerous!

[0.10.12][resolved for 0.11] Connecting trains crashes

Steps to reproduce: Load saved game Press the key to connect rolling stock twice. Crash: Internal error: Carriage::moveBackJointBackward backRail rollingStockCount != 0 btw does Factorio save these sorts of errors anywhere? I took a look around but couldn't find a log file with the error in it; I ha...
