Re: Feature request: stacker, unstacker and pass-through
I read there may be problems if you change the stack size in the code, is that still the case? What about 10x stacking? I read it now, however I see there could be problems with changing the value. Has anyone tried to increase it? Like I said before - the only tested alternative value was 4. Upward...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Stacking Beltbox (& Compact Loaders)
Turn of both snapping options in the per player mod settings. They are totally buggy. After that updating and blueprinting works. They are not "totally buggy", they work exactly as intended. Inter-mod conflicts are to be expected. There are no issues between Upgrade Planner and DSB at all...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Stacking Beltbox (& Compact Loaders)
@Deadlock989 Firstly, thank you much for your awesome mods. I've suggestion for DSB. Probably, it's mentioned already (but I can't find it). My idea is to add 'adaptive recipes' to DSB (as it is done in DCL). With mods which overhaul everything (Bob's especially) original recipes of stacking beltbo...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Upgrade planner
A user of my "Deadlock's Compact Loaders" mod has reported an issue when using "Upgrade Planner" on my loaders. It's a similar problem that previously occurred with the mods "Nanobots" and also "Bluebuild". DCL runs some "snapping" code when an entit...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Stacking Beltbox (& Compact Loaders)
Regarding the above, in the meantime, you can alter Upgrade Planner yourself to fix the problem, by changing line 809 of control.lua from: script.raise_event(defines.events.on_built_entity,{player_index = player.index, created_entity = new_item, stack = player.cursor_stack}) to: script.raise_event(d...

This case (I guess) that it only returns to the correct direction if you go yellow > red > yellow? In fact, there : Image 1 >upgrade> Image 2 >downgrade> Image 1 (Sorry, I'm not really good in english, it seemed easier to say that like that :D) Have investigated this briefly and I think it's the sa...

Re: Mod portal wishlist Mk XIV
Have been away for a while and only just noticed the new Trending sort option, the Discussion disabler, the separate FAQ tab, and the greatly improved readability of discussions. Thank you very much, it's a big improvement. How does "Trending" work? Is it just "recently most downloade...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Stacking Beltbox (& Compact Loaders)
Advanced notice Just a reminder about plans for the future. I'm not making any significant changes to the 0.16 versions of these mods. When Factorio 0.17/1.0 comes (Christmas?), it will either have some kind of belt stacking or not - probably not but you never know. If it does, mission accomplished...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Stacking Beltbox (& Compact Loaders)
Before upgrade: https://i.imgur.com/KoIzQLk.png After upgrade: https://i.imgur.com/Xr8MqYY.png If I downgrade, DCLs will have the right direction (like before upgrade) With both snapping options deactivated, there's no change with upgrade/downgrade. (There is enough informations?) That's useful, th...

I read it now, however I see there could be problems with changing the value. Has anyone tried to increase it? Like I said before - the only tested alternative value was 4. Upward increases weren't tested, this isn't really an official feature. My gut instinct is that it should work OK - meaning th...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Stacking Beltbox (& Compact Loaders)
So thanks for this mod Deadlock. You rock. You're welcome. You could save half that space by using Deadlock's Compact Loaders. A note for anyone posting here: I'm not around for most of July. I'm getting married this weekend and then have a couple of weeks of doing not much more than just sipping s...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Stacking Beltbox (& Compact Loaders)
Hey, I'm wondering if it would be possible to add functionality to detect and automatically adjust the crafting speed of each stacking beltbox for bob's mods belt overhaul? I'm guessing you already know what this does, but for those who don't, it changes the base belt speed to allow 10 items per se...

Re: [MOD 0.16.x] Deadlock's Crating Machine
Any chance you could either do a compatibility mod for angelbob materials, or give me an example of how to conditionally add a recipe for, say, Iron Sheet Coils, so I can throw together the compatibility mod? I think orzelek's Angel/Bob mod for the Stacking Beltbox listed here also supports the Cra...

Mod portal wishlist Mk XIV
A lot of this isn't new but just to re-register some of the issues. - Discussions absolutely need notifications of new threads (at the very least) and probably replies to threads, for the mod owner (at the very least). Otherwise the discussion area is just a burden and an option to turn it off compl...

Re: Friday Facts #247 - Pricing and its exploits
Satisfactory looks interesting at first glance but I doubt it can directly replace Factorio. I've been sufficiently burned by other Early Access efforts such that my hype vaccinations are now very powerful. Factorio has been the only positive EA/paid beta experience I've ever had and I don't trust a...
