What you are describing is what I tried to buff in 1.4.2. I'm not sure how well behaved is now - haven't had time to do extensive testing of size vs distance. Ok... then 1.4.2 it is.. will i need to do that code or just instal and play? i assume just instal and play.. but i would rather ask a dumb ...

Ok nice.. So i use .12.10 The save was created with .12.0 100% positive on this 1.. LoL I want the leaner gen that is 1.0.3. But if i need to do another 1 is there and how do i change it to give me that leaner gen? Or is that to much work? Now by take it out.. That is femove any trace of the mod rs...

From the log it seems you used different RSO version - it's not 1.0.3 for sure. Also I can only help with recent versions - if you want to play around with 1.0.3 because of lp's I can't help much with that. Line with error is consistent with recent versions - it might require newer version of Facto...

http://imgur.com/inyiClx Ok i have run this command once again... rso 1.0.3 is the only 1 in the folder and it shows as active... the game did infact pause for maybe 10 seconds... and then this error happend? any thoughts? i am not tech savy so if its an lua code thing.. if you keep it simple step b...

Two things: 1. Do take the 1.4.3 - it's for Factorio up to 0.12.10 and will be more generous when you travel far so outposts should run longer. 2. If you feel like fun and don't want to change the save then back it up, put new RSO into it and run this command from console: /c remote.call("RSO&...

Nope.. This save was created when .12 was released a carefully upgraded to .12.10 and has remained as such.. It has come to my attention that infact it could have been RSO 1.4.1 and not the desired 1.0.3. As previously thought.. As i had been following negativeroot's break the game lp in prepration...

Not all mods will break. Only some, that uses special functions. Any mod which uses a control.lua will break, which is the majority of utility mods, special function mods or things, which happens to be most of the most popular mods. Any clue why i cant seem to get a desent resource spawn with RSO? i end up with say 8 or more oil spots closer than i want to my starting area... or bits and pices of a resource rather than a patch.. Ok so i really like the concept of RSO and have tried IDK how many times to find a map that just feels right.. i follow the forums and see that 1.0.3 is supposed to be the 1 that many Mega base end game players prefer as it gives a better distance orientated forces extensive use of trains kinda feel...

You should probably try to download the full 0.12.10 instead of just updating. That might fix the missing recipes and items. that's exactly what i just thought and am in the process of doing.. :D Hope it fixes it.. cant progress with no ammo at this point.. yeah that fixed it.. i normally always do...
