I am aware that there is a basic story line. My point is that it could be expanded. Maybe in the future we could go beyond simple fighting for survival and actually colonize the planet - after all, that is what the story is preparing us for. See that's the problem with a factory building game - where do you go next? What's the story line? Gotta keep in mind that Factorio is in early development stages. More features are sure to come. Maybe we could shape our approach a little bit differently then? We could arrive on the planet and befriend the biters somehow or pay ore resources for slightly cleaner factories while sacrificing some efficiency - because low tech eco-friendly stuff is more difficult to produce than regular low tec...

Id like to see a possibility of a texture pack in the future. I always preferred more modern styles to old, steampunk style. It'd be nice if we could choose the style we want to see or better yet, if technology would visually evolve over time. Thats my two cents :)

IMO we should eventually get train oil tanks to pump it in and out of the train as opposed to putting oil in barrels and then putting those barrels on the train.
