Dont forget - this game is called Factorio for a reason. I think the main idea of the game is that you start small and weak and build up from nothing, at the expense of natural wildlife :P As such it makes sense to make main character weak - his defence, and offence would come from what he makes, no...

Would be also beneficial to change into map mode in editor when you zoom out too much: I have a decent computer and it stutters when i zoom way too much.

I decided to simply make new module - got wires and circuits closer together so that red inserters would deposit wire right into circuit assembler, which will then output circuits onto the belt. i've decided to use belts so that i can see exactly when and where bottlenecks happen, moreover as I slow...

Player speed is indeed slowest possible atm: while it is decent at the early game, working at end game complexes is hard enough - heck i made empty belt highways specifically so I could walk faster within my base. Making it slower would cripple end game experience. Making monsters slower than player...

I have no idea how hard it would be to code that in. How about energy inserter that could transfer energy between capacitors. I think that would be easier to implement and use.
