Re: Super laggy singleplayer (since .15?)

Do you have a browser-window open with eg youtube or some other video? This always kills my performance for some strange reason (i5-2500k@4Ghz, 16GB Ram)

Re: First real playthrough, great experience.

Gratz, but how did you build the satelite without Solarpanels? yeah, that was the exact moment where i knew something was off :D [I thought that launching the rocket will end the game, even without a satellite] I launched the rocket, the game didn't end. So I loaded an old save and build the satell...

But today i have finally managed to launch my first rocket with a satelite ;) Thanks for the really great game guys. PS. Please change ...

I may have something for you: https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/merry-xmas-2013 Quote: "It is a never-before publicly released prototype of the game from the autumn 2012" Edit: Unfortunately the Link/ Archive seems to be not working anymore. Maybe the devs or someone else will provide you...

That really looks like a web-translated copy-paste version of the original factorio website.

Re: Change Blueprint ghosts lifetime

DaveMcW wrote:For 60 minute ghost lifetime:

Code: Select all

/c game.player.force.ghosttimetolive = 3600 * 60
This command does not seem to be working any longer (tried in 0.12.3)

Has this been removed, or has just the code changed, does anyone know? thanks.

Great Mod, something I always wanted to see in the original game (Alongside with some sort of blueprint catalogue, where i can store blueprints account-wide and not bound to savegames ;))

Re: Post your PC-Specs!

Last significant amount of money i spent for my PC-systems was for two good color-calibrated IPS-monitors. Spending more than 1000 on a "Gaming PC" is just absolute overkill (Even with SDD, fine casing, silent components etc). Expensive overclocked RAM maybe gets you 1-3% better performanc...

Re: Continuous oil processing

Devices like water pump can have variable speed because there is no processing involved. In other hand processes like oil refining are based on chemical reactions. You have limited size of container, you pump in oil, do chemical processing, and pump out products. You can't do this continuously. Tha...
