Re: [Bug] [Alpha 0.2.8] Electric Poles not connecting [Visua
My pole connections sometimes flicker before they are placed. If they flickered, they (usually at least) won't visually connect. I haven't tried actual connection. I have exactly the same problem, maybe something is wrong with the linux version. It is happening in a newly created game and in an old...

Re: Undergroung belt takes stuff from sides.
Lol, quite a unique discovery! We should keep this "bug" at least till there is some way how to split a half of the belt. Is there some way how you can send the other half somewhere else? Maybe you could use slow inserters and have it on a very fast belt running, so the inserters would not...

It is very nice to see the development. Is there some reason why you have some boiler inserters yellow and some blue?

Re: Music
My guess would be that a good music library should implement this on its own, so you don't need to do it. I remember I was using fmod many years ago and it was extremely easy and fast.kovarex wrote:I know, but we will need to load the music in different thread, to avoid stuttering.

Re: Music
We can add more music to the game, but we need first to do some technical stuff, the music is all loaded upon game start and is consuming lot of memory already. You can just simply turn the music off in the options (ambiente), and play the musing using your favorite music player. Seriously, why tha...

Re: Hi-speed MegaFactory by Vel-master
I have no idea how you build something which is able to produce so much of everything. I am always stuck with having not enough raw resources or stuff like gears . I like your design a lot, btw.

Re: Sort inventory Key
Interesting. Is this something you can reproduce ? This is happening to me as well. Try to take some iron and alternate it with taking steel, this happens. I believe you have just some partial (non-linear) order on items (using some numbers??) and you just have iron and steel being equal (the same ...

[Resolved 0.2.8] ALT does not display filter inserter info
Hi!
If I set up filters not on the first slot in the filter inserter, nothing is displayed using ALT. Probably you are checking whether the first position is empty, not whether all the positions. The inserter itself works fine.

The linux version 1.2.7 does not start!
Hi! I am running the Ubuntu version. Everything was working fine for me in versions 1.2.5 and 1.2.6, but the game freezes in the middle of loading (just after displaying 11th yellow square). I even tried to reboot the computer, remove all the game files and reinstall everything, nothing really helpe...

Re: Linux Support!
Hi!
I think they have all libraries they need directly part of the compiled code so no prerequisites are needed at all. I don't like this decision from the programmers point of view, but installing and everything is much easier.

Do you have some idea how efficient is this? How many blue science packs can you produce per minute?

Re: Plain Campaign
If you want to test everything the game offers probably the best way is to play a new game in a randomly generated world, not the campaign (if you have alpha). There should be a way how to skip tutorial but then you will probably have some problems with the remaining two missions.

Hi Socram! First of all thanks for all the help at the facepunch forums, it is a really great thread there. I cannot speak for the developers but I can add my opinion. Your help with the graphics would be very welcomed. One of the problems with the current graphics is that the artists are just exter...

Re: [Bug] Filter inserter item-GUI closes when crafting
Thanks guys for this. I noticed some very strange behaviour with filter inserters when i was playing but i was not able to identify the cause. Now it should be easy to fix.
