It was a great pleasure to participate with you on this journey up to 1.0! Congratulations and thank you to all of you at Wube, and especially to you, kovarex, for having such a great idea and for bringing it so far.

You obviously didn't read the whole thread.
Yes I did, 6 months ago. I admit I didn't bother to read back OP thinking this was just a mindless thread resurrection. My bad.

The only concern is whether the boy is patient enough to play till launching a rocket.
So... Girls can't play Factorio if I read you carefully.

Nuclear batteries of a sort do exist (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_battery).
Oh, OK. I ignored this.

Re: Challenge: maximum net energy from a blue belt of coal

We could sky rocket the challenge by using nuclear fuel, we should reach about 8.3 GW (quick and dirty calculations, including drills consumption and everything intermediate) but with an insane amount of centrifuge to produce as much as 548.26 nuclear fuel per minute.

Re: [MOD 0.17] Industrial Revolution

There should be a nuclear battery that you can reprocess instead of charge or electric trains could simply accept nuclear fuel cells and return spend fuel cells. The difference between 120% acceleration and 200% is just too big to keep electric trains otherwise. "nuclear battery" ? You're...

Re: Tank + Nuclear fuel + Re-enforced concrete = Me crashing in to my own base

Is your car in real life, or your bike, stops instantly when you hit brake pedal or squeeze the lever ?
If the answer is "no", then think again the implicit question in OP

Care to explain why this instead of the exact opposite? I was hoping for nearby scanning (and also recall asking for that) :/
So I am.

Re: Two customers service queue

Thanks. I don't really remember the "gymnastics" in use when the train flow is not optimal, the design is a few years old now. All I can say now is the design is rock solid and bug free, it was hardly tested and massively used. By the way, you absolutely need no flaws in the belt compressi...

Re: Two customers service queue

I use the same system you show, but I managed the trick to alternatively unload trains in a way more simple than your solution. dual_platform_station_1.png dual_platform_station_2.png 1 wagon gives a fully compressed express belt. 0eNrtXd1u47gOfpWFr5OFKNmyVOAcYM8j7F4uBoWbuK1xEjuwne4Wg7772s5PM4nU+Ujv...

Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers

Not to my knowledge.

I used to do like you, use a cheaty map/save, to debug my OCD designs. In editor mode you can "un-research" techs in the researches window, it's the best way I found to "sync" the researches.

Re: Old quickbar

Better build a "footstick" to emulate the mouse movements and keep the more dexterous hand (versus foot) on the keyboard. But that's not the point here, the question was for the OP to play Factorio without keyboard (or key bindings if you prefer).

Not all users use the Keyboard for Gaming...
Not pretty sure about that. I know an hemiplegic friend who plays only mouse handed games because of his handicap, and I definitely know he can't play Factorio.

How can you play Factorio without any keyboard inputs ? How do you move the character ?

- In IR, this is now a setting under Settings > Mod settings > Startup, which defaults to off, to preserve the non-leech challenge for those that enjoy it. Thank you. Several times I was tempted to use Burner Leech but until then I resisted because it would remove a great deal of challenge. And by ...

MrSquash, the changes are so many it's really hard to do an exhaustive list. The major ones are : - complete change of science packs recipes and quantity (you have 7 different science packs now) so complete new tech tree - no more needs to kill natives to launch a space rocket - nuclear power - chem...
