Aerial Turbines. Better than stay on ground, higher altitudes have best winds. They will roam around collecting wind and deliver to the platform the energy collected.

Krastorio 2 and Earendel's Combat Mechanics Overhaul do it with standard character weapons but I don't know of any that do it with artillery.

Found an error with Space Exploration. When your mod is installed it changes Assembler mk.3 to be too small to make cargo rockets and they need to be made in Assembler mk.2.

Probably an engine limitation. Moving a thousand items at one time might not be possible.

Mod Mash has Valkyries that do exactly what you want. There's a new mod called Aircraft Drones that are similar but require you to set targets. Actually did a search and this seems to be exactly what you're looking for, though not verbatim. I've not tested it myself so don't know about compatibility...

Why not just use miniloaders and put things in chests? There's filters you can use that have white and blacklisting items.

I posted this on the mod portal, but I'll copy here also Your mod works with Krastorio 2, in that they load together, but playing with it I've run into a blockage. In order to make steel you need coke, but to make coke you need a refinery which requires steel. Also your coke product seems to overrid...

Can I request being able to enter the shelter you get and have some sort of bonus for being in there? Like increased healing regen or crafting speed?

I like the spawn and chest aspect I wish I could go in the door though.
