That's very cool. Congratulations!

Asteroid mining when? :D
About the same time as some people have home fusion reactors ... flimsy NASA mining will never happen..

Re: Friday Facts #275 - 0.17 Science changes

I really liked the information you provided on science packs … very useful. Too bad you did this thread before I posted: Entity icons for stack equations and Entity equations threads. Then you would have had the math to illustrate how each science pack differed. Hope you find this post useful.

Re: Entity equations

Thanks Nova and DaveMcW for your response. DaveMcW got it despite the joke. Sorry, but the ALT reference is different. I find Factorio challenging to play … even in Peaceful, a lot of stop re-supply here … re-supply there, etc. Thank God for Logistics. There must be a few people who use math regular...

Entity equations

A favorite dev word is recipe ... another way of saying function and parameters. Getting started is all about mining functions: b1(?) = dc and m1(?) = df→c ... ? being the ore. Early game research requires s1 and s2 stacks ... a real pain to craft manually. Early game automation requires stack equat...

Entity icons for stack equations

Hi. Just a month of game experience so still a raw beginner. Need a simple way to manage game play so relying on math to summarize how entities are being stacked. That is, the s1 science packs come from the stack equation: m1(ir)β†’a1(۞)β†’a1(cp,s1) . In other words, iron ore to iron plate to gear wheel...

Re: Logistic Network Research

Viewed a few of the exchanges in this topic in order to see what your perspective is.

Any suggested sub-forum(s) that you (an experienced player) might suggest a beginner should hang out?

My first topic posting should show what my perspective is. Thanks for your future help.

Re: Challenge: Generic max-speed train unload

A lot of effort expended on this topic. Only looked at frontend and skimmed the rest … but impressive.

Hope you like my current and future efforts. I. e. Hoping to develop some Factorio friendships.

Any suggestions where in the Forum (I. e. sub-forum(s)) that a beginner should hang out?

Re: Underground belt lane splitting, anyone else hate it?

This exchange tho interesting looks a little like the Steam exchanges I get …. and what I have to say no one gets.

Interesting due to the level quoting being done … better than the Wat I often got in Steam for Endless Space 2 postings.

Beginner use of entity build algebra

Hi, still doing the first Factorio game … been playing the past few weeks … no critters in this first game. I like to take notes when I'm playing a game since Steam games get complicated very quickly. As I've been playing this first Factorio game, I discovered it was getting more difficult to rememb...
