Re: Friday Facts #111 - Long term plans
Fire looks amazing! Bit of a shame about the space platform but what I was really looking forwards to was the colonising and setting up food/living for more colonists! That's quite a big thing to be a mod... About 'finishing' the game - I love the constant updates and development but I know that you...

All of the technology icons look great! My favourite... probably the railway ones as they just look like little model trainsets! I think that should actually be a mod: little narrow gauge trains that you can sit on with the width of the track being one square! Somebody get on it...

I have had this problem too. Do you have the concrete rail mod installed? If so, update it (from the mods page) as they have released a patch

I have to say the snake looks epic! It really does suit the new Factorio style. However, will it work if Factorio gets a higher resolution later on?
P.S. It is very cold here in Britain too

Not entirely sure how to do it but the most recent update has broken the mod. error: 0.000 2015-10-16 20:54:47; Factorio 0.12.11 (Build 17100, linux64) 0.000 Operating system: Linux 0.000 Program arguments: "./factorio" 0.000 Read data path: /home/jonathan/Games/factorio/data 0.000 Write d...

4) Queen biters are a neat concept. Would be neat if they could: a) Found new biter nests which, being set by a queen, would expand and grow more rapidly than regular biter nests. b) Be able to group up and order larger attacks by a control circle rather than nest by nest. Thus meaning that a queen...

'Sounds' like a good idea There should definitely be more music creations/remakes like this!ssilk wrote:I think about creating an own section for "sound/music", but currently much too less traffic for it, that it would be worth to split it up.

Re: Haluzsqua HD Rework!
I love this remake! It too reminds me of when I first played Factorio! I think that there should be more settings to control the way music plays in Factorio (just music or music and ambience). In regards to finding the music, I just looked in Factorio/data/base/sound/ambient I'm not sure if I'm mean...

Re: Multipurpose modular platform wagons
What could be useful is a drop pit underneath the wagon (https://youtu.be/RTIHKJ3nXLk?t=30s) It Wouldn't really work with things like circuits but definitely with coal and ores (maybe plates?) There doesn't have to be a new type of wagon but there would need to be a track with a 'hole' underneath. ...

Re: Friday Facts #104 - Deadlines ahead
Factorio is a niche thing, and mostly it's not for kids. Of course there's the odd one here and there, but generally the game attracts an older audience. Young adults through adults. I don't know why ' kids ' wouldn't like it. Being a ' kid ', this is my favourite game. Yes, most of them just play ...

Re: Friday Facts #104 - Deadlines ahead
I just have to chime in the fact that Farlight Explorers is a Windows-only game. For some people it's a very valid reason not to buy it, for example me and a friend of mine bought Factorio because it supports Linux. There are no regional discounts and the price (in euro) is pretty steep for us, esp...

They certainly look cool but I think they need a few upgrades to match the biter evolution and maybe a mini-gun on top!

This mod is AMAZING!!! :D :D :D I'm not really a mod person but I recently installed rail tankers as that is something I think vanilla needs. However, this alongside the new circuit network from 0.12 is something I've been looking for for a long time! Thank you very much for making this! M...

Re: [0.12.3] Personal roboport grabs from toolbelt
But I will do them anyway, because the changes are very simple, and these things were annoying me as well. So the the main inventory has now bigger priority when picking stuff from character and the order of slots inserter takes into consideration has been reversed for 0.12.4 This is what makes Fac...

Re: Factorio Computer
It would be my pleasure. Honestly though there's so many possibilities I'm not sure where to start. Do you have something specific you would like to see, or any suggestions on what would be a good starting point? I guess fluid handling has the most practical implementations at the moment. Yeah! Wha...
