Re: Aren't construction bots available too late?

I've used the mod Nanobots for earlier personal bots. You don't get them right off the jump, but you do get them significantly earlier than vanilla. If construction bots were unlocked earlier, I wouldn't turn to mod to do it for me. I do agree with someone else that said logistics bots should be lat...

Re: [Poll] Battery design that stabilizes 0.16.51

I voted for a new design. I don't like the old one, and I don't particularly care for the new one.

Re: Best Factorio feature

I love trains, and personal bots, but for me, just like the OP, I love auto-save the most. It has helped me before on a few occasions.

Re: Friday Facts #253 - Fans & Fun

Train-out-of-fuel warning is too late already. We need a Train-burning-its-last-fuel warning so that we can redirect the train to somewhere it can refuel *before* it halts completely. Now, do we have any way of changing train schedules based on their cargo / fuel? That would be awesome - "when...

Re: Friday Facts #253 - Fans & Fun

By "getting some of these items printed" does that mean doing it ourselves? Or is there somewhere we can order these from?

Love the belt keychain, I must have one.

PS: I don't have a 3D printer.

Re: How to install on Linux

tried that, it didn't work - you can't run an exe or whatever solo, you usually have to use a package manager or install via command.

Re: Whats your current game goal?

I'm still relatively new to Factorio - there is a lot I've yet to understand - for example - I still fully am not familiar with advanced oil setups - I am currently on yellow science and need to make sulfur and sulfuric acid and i feel overwhelmed. My current goal - to launch a rocket without uraniu...

Laptop question

Not by choice, but I am on a chromebook 16GB HDD 2GB RAM Linux laptop with onboard graphics. It can run Factorio fine for now, but my base is not that big, I am up to blue science packs. I worry about my future playthrough as my base expands and grows because I have seen some images of megabases and...

Re: Eco Megabase, 640SPM, only belts, All normal.

When I see bases like this I feel like such a newb - to me my base is huge enough already, and then I come on here and see this and I feel like my base is minute lol. Nice build.

Are you still looking for someone? I am fairly new to certain aspects of the game but am in search of one person to partner up with. I have steam and discord.

Power problem

Ok so my power went out (not sure cause the coal was still there) so I had about 25 or so steam engines, i added about 15 more and refilled the coal, everything started running again, It says I am only pushing out 7.1MW of power - i looked at my drills and they are still running slow so I added 18 m...

Looking for a partner to play a map with

I am still kind of new to Factorio - I've owned the game for many years, long before it was ever on Steam, and when I first bought it I played a little here and there, and then stopped for a while because I got involved in other games and forgot about it. Then when it was released on Steam and versi...

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)

long time lurker and player here, have had the game since before steam, and still learn new things almost daily while playing or watching other people's videos on YouTube. I would like to say Thank You to the devs for making such a terrific game, and I just got done reading what's MIGHT be in store ...
