Could we set the enemy land mines to be visible if they are within friendly radar range? The more overlap the better the visibility.

I don't disagree with you, it's just that not being able to get into a vehicle inside your own base doesn't sound like a very good solution to me. Should land mines kill players on foot? These land mines were added to the game to balance use of tanks, if you made the land mines only trigger when a large weight was applied, such as a vehicle, you'd still counter the power of tanks without ganking the on-foot player.
