I also really liked the flickering on and off of the lamps. It's a really nice touch.

It would be cool to add another stage in the evolution of belts. Something radically powerful with fairly high requirements, like a dedicated bus type of belt that needed power but had 8x throughput of a yellow belt, had unique appearance etc. Another fun one would be sending items through pipes at ...

"Death world" definitely sounds like having an endless threat you have to deal with.

Also it's nasty and pointless to make such arguments. For those who don't want biter hell, peaceful modes exist so everyone can be happy.

I feel like the game got drastically easier in 0.16 compared to 0.15 when I first played it. On my first time playing the biters would expand right up the wall and would invade within minutes if power failed on the lasers. Some of the turrets were up to 5000+ kills.
