There's already a market in game. Only problem is it can only be made in map editor, and can only be used if you know how to add a lua file to the scenario AFTER finishing the layout. I have no idea how to do it.

So I made a post in the Multiplayer forums asking about how markets work. Didn't get anything from that, BUT I did find the answer to my questions elsewhere, and have one last question now, to be able to build my own scenario.. I looked around a little more on /r/factorio, and got the info I was looking for. The commands on the wiki can only be used in map editor. It's used for making custom story maps, or a place in your custom map to get rid of stuff. I'm gonna continue messing with it until I learn it.

If you use map editor, it's in the "Production" subtab under "Entities". There are also Coins are in "Intermediates".

I'm not especially good at any type of coding, sadly. I would like to know how to add things to a market in multiplayer, so my cousin and I can at least make use of the extra crap we have. I think they should add in the option for separate, or shared tech when you start a new server, and maybe make a console command so you can change it in game. If you're building a large base with a few friends, then it's best to have shared tech.. If technologies were separate, then we'd have to dea...
