I never use cars because you can rarely go very far before you have to get out and run around or chop your way through.

You can use the circuit network to turn stations on and off.

Try the Rampant mod, it will change up the tactics.

You need to do a video when you are done.

Can you just use loaders?

Keeping a running "to do" list makes a big difference. I use the todo list mod for in game notes, but you can just use google keep, or notepad, or just add map notes out in unexplored areas.
Every time you start working or you notice something you need done, put it on the list.

This would make for some fun. Tunnel under walls? You need a new tremor sensor so you know where to defend.

It may make linking up with other players easier. You can run a public factorio server for free on it. It does shutdown when no one is online, but you just hit the start button to start it back up.

Connect to some public servers to get some ideas on how to do things. I learned a lot in the beginning by hopping into big public servers and just checking them out. If you can get on one when it is freshly reset, even better. Alternatively you can set up your own server and open it up to let people...

As long as it is all the same game version, all you have to do is hit the Sync with Save button. It will sync all of your mods and settings, restart, and you are good to go.
