[Sanqui] [Website] The download archive page shows 1.0.0 multiple times
On this page: https://factorio.com/download/archive The "1.0.0" version is shown four times. It looks like there are separate sections for the client & server downloads, but then both of these sections are duplicated as well. As far as I can see though the download links are the same. ...

Make taskbar button blink on events (eg. research complete)
TL;DR It would be cool if the taskbar button could blink on certain events, such as when research is complete, when the player is killed, or when a chat message is received. What ? Most operating systems and desktop environments allow to get a notification from an application when an event occurs. ...

Re: Factorio T-shirts store now open
HurkWurk, I'm not sure if it was added after your post, but the page says Sizes in cm I'm actually a bit surprised, the sizes are much bigger than I expected. Usually I wear L-XL but I measures my shirts just to be safe and they're about 54/70, so that would be M in this case. Unfortunately when I l...

Re: Unable to buy more copies of the game
So apparently I misunderstood the message from the support person and asked to clarify if the limit is indefinite, but I got as a reply The purchase limits generally do reset automatically. It can take anywhere from 24 hours to several days after the last purchase attempt. You're more than welcome t...

Re: Unable to buy more copies of the game
Well if most of people who try to buy multiple copies of a game in a short period of time are using stolen credit card data, then why wouldn't a store start limiting sales to prevent that type of theft? I agree that some rate limiting makes sense to prevent fraud, but there is a big difference betw...

Re: Unable to buy more copies of the game
Reply from Humble Bundle support. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you encountered while trying to purchase Factorio! We employ purchase limits to combat fraud and enforce our terms of service. These measures are entirely automated, and we’re sorry you’ve been caught up in that. While we encourag...

Heh I thought that maybe it was a configuration option for the widget on your side. I contacted support and will see what they say.

Unable to buy more copies of the game
Hi, I'm trying to buy a few copies of the game to give away this holiday season, but unfortunately the Humble Store gives me an error: Order Canceled We can only sell a limited quantity of Factorio . We have canceled your order and will not charge you. Please try again later. If you feel this is an ...

Gog Galaxy achievements
Factorio is available on Gog . Gog has an optional client (kind of like Steam) called Galaxy. In this Galaxy client, achievements are supported (again, kind of like Steam). However, while Factorio on Gog does support in-game achievements, it does not support Gog Galaxy achievements. It would be rea...

Re: Prevent Factorio from retrieving Steam achievements
Because I don't really want to use mods, I created an empty mod just to enable modded achievements. Just a basic info.json like this in a folder Empty_1.0.0 did the trick: { "name": "Empty", "version": "1.0.0", "factorio_version": "0.14", &...

Re: Prevent Factorio from retrieving Steam achievements
Install a mod that doesn't really do anything, maybe Loot Chest or EvoGUI. Factorio will then disconnect its achievements from Steam and start a new "modded" set of achievements in a separate file which can be deleted to reset them. Thanks! I have never used mods before, so I thought achi...

Prevent Factorio from retrieving Steam achievements
I would like to reset some achievements to get them again, but every time I delete "achievements.dat" in the profile folder, Factorio just retrieves the achievements from Steam and creates the file again. Is there some way to prevent this behaviour? Currently, I know of the following optio...
