Re: Mod for burning any item to energy

Can't even imagine how much work it would need. I know nothing about coding.
Just gave an idea I'd love to see and experience/experiment in-game myself ^^

Re: Mod for burning any item to energy

Hmm. I'm still confused. I myself was thinking about a specific machine you put any item in and it turns the item into electricity right away. Those "any items" wouldn't work like coal or oil or stuff like that - you couldn't put any item in any other device which would normally burn a bur...

Mod for burning any item to energy

We have mods which add more variety to electricity. They however deal with actual, realistic fuels.

This mod could also have a function which gives more energy the more the item needed manufacturing/rarer and more expensive parts.

Thoughts?

Re: [MOD 0.16] Technology Market (buy technologies)

You've changed labs for get "ucoins" instead of science packs, but how can you get the Ucoins from BlackMarket to use in labs? I'm locked in doing researches for this. Any help or indication on how use it? I really like the idea of "Anything help you growing in knowledge", but w...

Re: Friday Facts #195 - Poles re-design

I enjoy the old electric pole graphics. The Big pole v2.a is ugly. I dislike it. It almost looks like a...tall sound tower...or a light tower. v2.b looks better, but I still enjoy the old look more. The Medium pole v2.a also looks ugly. v2.b looks better, but again, I enjoy the old style more. The S...

I also like what I read (at least the part I understood) =D
I never dreamed of showing to a friend how I want something to be built by using Ghost versions! This could ease up stuff a lot!

Re: Friday Facts #187 - Space science & 0.15 graphics

I am playing the 0.15.5 at the moment. I am as far as about to research Oil Industry soon. There are two things so far I dislike: 1. The item icons in the minimap are too big in size. (Can they be resized by the player?) 2. I liked the fact that you needed to research the first armor. Call me a Sci-...

Re: Friday Facts #186 - Marathon testing

Been refreshing all day for the FFF... I'm looking forward for the release! I refreshed a few times. It feels strange to wait one post for five days after reading slowly through every older Factorio news. Like time has slowed down a lot. I am also waiting to hear/see/read more, and of course to tes...

Re: Friday Facts #183 - Aiming for the release date

The incoming map colors are nice. Turret ranges on the minimap I also approve on. But about the zoom from map to the world I am not sure, do I either approve or disapprove. But what comes to the radar showing "real world", it could be put behind a research, either red only, or red+green. A...

Re: Friday Facts #181 - Calm before the storm

"These cases have raised some moral question in me about whether it is acceptable to deactivate a review key. If a channel writes in and asks to cover our game, and even 6 months later they haven't shown the game at all, do they deserve to keep their free copy?" I think it is fine and okay...

Re: Friday Facts #180 - Map interaction

I found it difficult to see the factory on the minimap with all the pollution blocking the view. Enabling/disabling pollution only is a nice addition. I also approve the logistics area visualisation and the electric network visualisation. I LOVE the custom tags coming in! What comes to the item icon...

Re: Friday Facts #179 - New resource graphics & concrete

I think I like the old resource illustration a bit more, though I like the "puzzle-style". The new resource look are maybe a bit too..."boxy"? And of course Hi-res is nice! Also, there is always the (small?) chance that someone thinks, as an example, copper to be a red rock and s...

Re: Friday Facts #178 - Minimal mode and Mini-tutorials

I am glad about the Minimal mode. Though the errors are telling about what mod has problems about 90% of the time, there are those uncommon moments when you need to find the mod breaking it all. Plus the -push-the-button-automated mod-toggling is a nice plus. Mini-Tutorials are awesome too. I dislik...

Done. Let's see, how it goes. Edit: The responded and we got it fixed. About the fix: I went in our Factorio directories, opened player-data.json and changed something there. Before: "service-username": "Damaskox", After: "service-username": "", This change as...

Two Steam Accounts playing as one account

Greetings! First of all, I apologize for not checking, whether this has a fix or not, since I had no idea, how to Google this. I tried to play Factorio with my girlfriend (Renephias), on Steam. We went to the game, she created a map, I tried to join... Then she got some kind of an error. Soon after ...

Are (any) mods (ever) made by players considered to be actually added by game developers?
