With the way shells stack, it's currently easier to reload artillery wagons at a central station than to reload many remote artillery turrets.

One game I haven't seen mentioned yet: Transport Fever It starts out like a 3D version of TTD with a demand-driven economy, but the business aspect is irrelevant by mid-game. Two thoughts about this:

- With the addition of artillery, perhaps rail world can have biter expansion enabled?
- The dialog for a new game should warn about disabled achievements.

agmike has the right approach. Productivity modules currently yield "rate * Output." They should yield "rate * (Output - Input)," where "Output - Input" is multiset subtraction. For most recipes before now, "Output - Input = Output."

How about a simple desaturation filter? Well-lit areas appear as they normally do at night, and dark areas appear just as bright but in grayscale.
