Could also include some laser turrets to make an area that the player can retreat to early game if they piss off a bit too many biters. the ship I'm imagining is a ship about the size you would find in FTL, with a small interior. could have the player start with nothing and have to collect the guns,...

when you close to being behind or when you mouse over the area that is blocked by the building it becomes transparent. And maybe the rest of the building becomes black to show the area that it takes up a bit better.
and when you go inside the building all floors above are transparent.

Just wondering, why do you have splitters right behind the splitters. aren't they obsolete.

I need a way to split 8 transport belts evenly.
It needs to fit in a 13 wide area but length doesn't really matter.

Rename FlameThrower Ammo to Fuel

Rename he flame thrower ammo to fuel and have it used in boilers, cars, trains, etc. and still used as flamethrower ammo.
(partly due to the fact that i had almost 2k of flamethrower fuel produced and holding space isn't fast enough :P)

or you could just have it that you have to put stairs in somewhere, and when you on that floor everything above it become transparent and you can interact with it all.
