His equipment probably has a different category than your grids allow. Try adding his equipment category to your grids (the property name is equipment_categories).

I loved the Electric Vehicles and Wireless Charging mods by mknejp. They were not updated to 0.15 nor 0.16. I updated the Electric Vehicles myself, but I have a lot of trouble with Wireless Charging. If you are interested in helping me, hit me up.
