Honestly I've got to hand it to the developers for making such an amazing game in LUA, most would turn to C++ or Python, maybe even Java but Using such a simplistic language I honestly think they're able to grind more work and craftsmanship into their production.

I often think of this because I discovered factorio only be over hearing its name by some kids, it makes me think that I almost missed out on something great.
