I have trouble believing anyone who reads the forums for a game hasn't played that game enough to get their moneys worth so calling $30 a high price for something that will have as much content as the original just makes me laugh. I have over 500 hours in this game and I've only ever played vanilla....

Games with amazing soundtracks like Rayman I leave the music on for. Games like this... once I've heard it a few times I just turn it off. Why not just turn the music off if you don't like it?

I am happy to hear the tutorial is getting scrapped. I didn't really care for it, never even made it all the way through it. I liked the old one more. I feel like they were trying to solve an impossible problem when making the new one.

A little too colorful, I think. I'm a little confused...its been admitted that the game has a dark theme, why make it colorful? It is not fitting. ToeJam & Earl can have colorful planets, rainbow trees, etc..

As I'm sure others have said...research queue is for pros, not for new players. Make new players click one at a time, that makes sense. Don't make the rest of us click on Rocket speed again and again just to get to the silo..

I tried a Deathworld for the first time a couple of months ago. It did not feel like a Deathworld to me, but I've also got 200-300 hours so I could also build quick enough to defend myself. I had a giant ammo belt around my entire base, probably could have skipped lasers. So tedious though, one day ...

I'd say you are exploiting the game's mechanics but it is not an exploit (flaw in code). You're just playing the meta. Personally I just make a ridiculously long double concrete wall with lasers and the strategies in this thread never crossed my mind. Maybe that's why I'm bad at the tower defense ge...

I'm not against any improvements to pathfinding, but do you have any examples of where pathfinding is an issue that doesn't involve cheesy dragon's teeth?

I have to say biters have been getting on my nerves as well, but I should probably just play without them. I don't because I feel I'm sort of cheating the system. I just started a new game on a Deathworld and expected to get overrun but I have barely noticed the difference other than an increase evo...

I don't think I'm your audience here bro , although I stated I don't care much about achievement stats, I also that I don't think it should be advertised that it is this easy to re-enable achievements. Might want to redirect your discontent to a mod that can take this thread down if it's really rain...

But, the game also should warn you that you are going to disable achievements when you run a console command.. The game does warn you when you try it. Though I criticized that fact once, I mostly agree to it now because it stopped being a problem to me. I got burned for checking evolution the wrong...

I don't really think achievement statistics have any purpose as it is. Same goes for those trading cards, I have never met someone who actually admits they buy those things but the people are out there somewhere.. My enjoyment with achievements comes from achieving some arbitrary objective like not ...

Do speed runners always play in peaceful mode? After watching for a while I was wondering why he had no defenses and then I realized he chose peaceful. Takes away the pollution management part of the game entirely but I guess if everyone does it the playing field is leveled for speed runs.
