Re: Friday Facts #168 - Nightvision Nightmare
When im on an endless highend game, i dont want to equip/unequip nightvision. It should not be in the way. How about research different night vision, and perhaps this makes more people happy. The basic version is what we currently have, or what you propose. The next upgrade is perhaps what MiloRK po...

Blueprints stay in book
Hey, so whats up with the blueprint books always messing up. I have books sorted by category ,and inside the books the blueprints are accuratly sorted. Thats the easiest way for me to distinguish blueprints, the icons are not quiet doing it for me. So im picking a blueprint from the book ,and check ...

Is there a good resource mod, that encourages use of train, but not make them practically infinite like this?

Your logic is gone.. or that of the developers.Optera wrote:Turret Creep needs nerfing not because it's "too good" but because it's the least annoying way to get rid of massive biter infestations.
According to nearly every response, the problem lies somewhere else.

Re: Friday Facts #166 - Combat Revisit
Perhaps make the destroyer capsules easier to use. Killing alien nests is boring, spawning the capsules is as well. Using capsules prevents using tanks at the same time, because you are occupied. You should be able to throw everything you got, or have robots that do. Then killing aliens nests would ...

Re: Friday Facts #166 - Combat Revisit
Yea aliens take too much time to raid them. I would prefer to spend more resources and to have more diverse factory than to spend my time killing them. The good thing about them, is that they require you to build defenses and weapons, which enriches gameplay alot. Just killing them manually is alitt...

Re: Movie Player
Well with 0.6 fps this feat is far from getting superseeded soon.
As far as factorio 2 goes, you'd wish for full multicore support instead 3d graphics.

Re: 10/10 rating on Steam
Actually its 98% on steam by reviews. I dont know where the heck this score comes from.
Besides i see that the recommended spec is a quad core over a recommended dual core. Weird for a game that doesnt benefit from multicore.

Re: Can I run this game?
Even with the demo you cannot tell if this game runs on your pc, because only a big base puts strain on your cpu. But i guess 2,2ghz is perfectly fine to complete the game, but far from being able to run a megabase. Completing the game requires you to launch 1 rocket and you have hours time. In mega...

Oh and as a sidenote to my last post. If the cooling is stopped and the steam doesnt flow, the whole thing overheats. And you have Chernobyl. Explosions you try to implement so i thought i meantion it.

Re: Friday Facts #164 - Nuclear power
Interesting, in one paragraph i am thinking to myself why dont they allow buildings to connect to one bigger version. And in the next they propose it with nuclear plants. :o Weird that you change boilers into output steam and "less water". I figured the original way is already very intuiti...

Come to think of it, like my preview this is how i would like the train manager to be. Train lines drop down, and multiple trains per line.

Re: Friday Facts #161 - Infinite Research and Blueprint Library
How about something like this? Local and global in one spot, so they dont become redundant. And remove the classic blueprint from the game. Just go off the library.
