Re: Friday Facts #394 - Assembler flipping and circuit control
Minor Request: When the mouse is over an underground belt you the mirror/flip key should change the direction currently you can do this with the rotate key but I think both should work. I always hit the flipping key by mistake first try.

Re: Friday Facts #389 - Train control improvements
I hope the Combinators 2.0 has options for train capacity and chest capacity for item. The same as it has rocket capacity of the input item. Would make train automation easier.

Re: Friday Facts #384 - Combinators 2.0
The Selector combinator has options for: Output the stack size of the input item. Output the rocket capacity of the input item (useful for Space Age logistics). It would be nice if these would combinded in to one 'Output the size of container' with options both stack, rocket or any type of chest. Wo...

Re: [0.15] Sea Block Pack 0.1.7
Rubyte chunks take only purified water to hydro refine and produce nitric waste water. So that is easy. And I see crystalizing gold ore needs 50 blue science. So for 50 blue science you need 3000 rubyte chunks. That fits in a single wooden chest. So I just put the sorter down and 2 chests (one in, ...

Re: 90 degree 4-belt merge
No where near as good as MeduSalem 's 5x7 my I made this to sit in the shape of the T-Junction.
Edit: Just looked at Tengumai's first post and spotted how close my design is to his. But this one is a little more compact.- Thu Sep 01, 2016 4:00 pm

Re: Is blue belt worth the cost in resources?
I think the use of blue belts shows the lack of planning (I do use a few and my statement stands). The use of blue belts every where shows a little laziness in your planing and gives no where to go when you find you do need a little more throughput. In my opinion you think from one side. There are ...

Re: Is blue belt worth the cost in resources?
As a rule I plan to use red belts and have no problem running 4 red belts side by side and can build a 4 belt balancer in my sleep. I only use blue belts when I unexpectedly need that extra 50% and I don't have room to run another belt next to it. I think the use of blue belts shows the lack of plan...

Re: Late Game Rocket Planning Spreadsheet
Good work, looks like a handy tool.
Few questions:
Would it be possible to show how much oil/copper/iron and coal I would need per second to run and how much per rocket.
Also I not sure it correctly works out the Module build cost for the rocket silo.

Re: Train unload poll
http://imgur.com/qdBMqhG Belts with 12 stack inserts per wagon, and 3 station per ore type, I have no problem with speed. Each train runs to a single mining point and back. Most mining points have 1 train but some bigger ones have 2. If you had mixed cargo I could see the point of bots but I never u...

Looking for a mod to make belts fill of ore
I'm looking for a tool/mod that will give me an infinite amount of ore, oil and power. I want to test out some designs and I don't want to having to use console commands to spawn in more items. Any one know such a mod?

Re: 50 hour of Marathon Mod
Yes It's by far the biggest part of my base, (not counting solar power). My stations unload 6 red belts of copper ore (4 blue belts = 6 red) and 4 red belts of iron ore. My green circuit area eats 5 red belts of copper ore and 2 belts of iron ore and only outputs just over 1 yellow belt of circuit. ...

Re: How to store 4 trillion square tiles of map in just 8 GB RAM
I don't know, maybe it would crash maybe it wont. If it does not crash this is how it is likely to work: The world as you probably know is split up into chucks. All these chucks are saved to your hard disk. If they are using compression maybe they get 1 bit per tile, maybe it's 4 bytes. Lets be kind...
