Re: Friday Facts #393 - Putting things on top of other things

I only have one question: Will we get loaders too? Pretty please?

Re: Friday Facts #367 - Expansion news

Very nice to hear. Little question, does the Expansion add to the Base game, meaning a playtrought of it contains all Base-Game features, or does it function as an alternate way of playing, that disables or surplants certain base features in favor of its own way or out of balancing considerations? ...

QoL: A Block Item

Basically used in Splitter and Sorter set-ups. Something like a non-existent empty item icon that does nothing more than serves as a splitter and sorter 'NOTHING' option. It would be a very minor and useful thing to add to the game.

Re: I won't be kept silent about this forgotten gem: Liquid Mechanics Rework

Hello. Nowhere did I see how this is going get tackled but we all were once promised UPS/FPS friendly Liquid Mechanics rework. So what happened? Fluid UPS optimisations (multithreading) have been in the game since 0.17: https://factorio.com/blog/post/017-stable https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-27...

Re: QoL Inventory: Slot Filtered Item Auto-Deselect by clicking on another Slot Filtered Item

It was meant more like a factual statement than an opinion but I don’t want to split hairs with you. I think this idea is interesting if you consider the recent changes the devs made to the quickbar (and reverted again for the most part). Following the new rules this suggestion would be obsolete fo...

Re: QoL Inventory: Slot Filtered Item Auto-Deselect by clicking on another Slot Filtered Item

ssilk meant that you can clear your cursor first by pressing Q. With an empty cursor the game won’t try to put something in the filtered slot that doesn’t belong there. I agree that your suggestion would make some interactions easier since you wouldn’t have to clear your cursor with Q first. But I ...

Re: QoL Inventory: Slot Filtered Item Auto-Deselect by clicking on another Slot Filtered Item

Press Q. I think you are not getting it. I am currently testing the game, clicking Q while holding a filtered item to switch to another in the inventory and it doesn't work. I will repeat myself more clearly: When I am holding a filtered slot item I would like to click on another filtered slot item...

QoL Inventory: Slot Filtered Item Auto-Deselect by clicking on another Slot Filtered Item

What it says in the name: I have two rows of blue filter slots up in my inventory. I pick a filtered slot item, e.g. rails, build them on the map manually, then click to open inventory again, still holding the rails in my hand (and now comes the important part), then I always, ALWAYS, click on anoth...

A little sad the Devs didn't mention this Mad Lad:

Oh. He did a thing...in 3 moths he just rewrote the game from scratch to allow for Multi-Threaded/Multi-Core 64bit Multiplayer.

Re: [1.0.0] Logitech LED Controller does not work

Okay. News. Found out what it is: G-Hub with G203 Prodigy doesn't work on Factorio. The problem is with G-Hub.
This is related:

It is with G-Hub. Is there an option to contact Logitech about this?

Thanks for the report however there's nothing for us to do around this. The log file shows it started up correctly:
Logitech LED Controller initialized.
and it works correctly on the keyboards we have.

Therefor the issue has to be on your end with your software install.
Thanks for the help.

[1.0.0] Logitech LED Controller does not work

G213 Prodigy Logitech RGB LED's not working their 'magic', or, at all , during Loading Screen when I tick on for the game to Enable Logitech Support in Others sub-menu of Options. A year and a half ago it worked. Now it shuts down. The keyboard is dark as long as Factorio is a process in the task ma...

Musím vám poblahopřát, kluci/holky zlatí. Skvělá práce. Jenom smutné že FFF skončilo. Možná by to šlo nahradit něčím méně častým. I have to congratulate you, guys/girls,. Good job. Just sad that the FFF is over. Maybe it could be replaced by something less frequent. "Factorio Fluky Facts"?...

The sooner the better The general feeling in the office is that the game is pretty much done, and that we want to get it released as soon as possible. The sooner we get some closure on version 1.0, the sooner we can start thinking about fun and exciting new things. By fun and exciting things I hope...
