Rocket Defense Assembling Facility

Some time ago I made a very huge facility for automated producing of rocket defenses, when I realize that I can't assembly them in the machine.
Now in 0.11.5 it's possible, so I completed it! Now it makes about one Rocket Defense per hour.
All possible assembling machines and furnances are fully filled with the efficency modules 3.

I guess it's time to introduce universal metric to rate factory power, measured in RDH (Rocket Defenses per Hour)

Here we can see 1 RDH factory.

We tested our calculations by using 1 rd×Hz

It was scary some 25k assembly 3 making green circuits etc

When I get access to the math I'll get a better answer, the hard part would be routing the whole thing

Logistics bot would be the relatively easy way, granted you would need thousands of bots but it would be easier than trying to route belts. One way might be to over produce the intermediates and uses trains to move it around, and then bots to load and unload.

what you need to make 1 Rocket defense down to the low think( or 4 bast items)

i guarantee those numbers are wrong, as the raw items to craft it by hand are

Your math is wrong. This is what the in-game popup says (basically the same as ssilk's link shows)

And since processing units can't be made in hand, those 33k iron and 73k copper may not even include the copper and iron needed for those (I'm too lazy and don't care enough to do that math right now)

Ok, i got my demand generator working and set to look only at vanilla (part of why it wasn't working before)

(note, it's using basic oil atm, because we don't know how to tell it that that isn't the best way to do it)

note: i don't trust any of this atm, as there is still bugs to be found

17 steel/electric furnaces on iron
8 on steel
15 on copper

and (if i remember how this works) 122 depleted oil pump jacks (obs less for non-depleted)

sslik, the wiki says that the 2.7k blue circuits are "unneeded" (or something to that effect) forgetting that blue circuits are used in the making of both tier 2 and tier 3 modules

I don't know how you calculated your numbers, but they can not be correct. In case you didn't see, the raw materials for hand crafting are all given in multiples of thousend items.
I have done some Math by myself and calculated some numbers for you:

As Intermediate Products you need 100 Artifacts, 2850 Processing Units, 3070 Advanced Circuits, 180 Electric Circuits, 300 Iron, 150 Copper, 200 Coal and 200 Sulfur.
If you produce this without the use of Productivity Modules you will need 100 Artifact, 75k Iron Ore, 129k Copper Ore, 17k Plastic, 1.6k Sulfur, 200 Coal (+~9k for Plastic)
If you produce evereything in a mk3 assembler and fill them all with 4x Productivity 3 Modules you will only need 100 Artifact, 31k Iron Ore, 39k Copper Ore, 10k Plastic, 1k Sulfur, 200 Coal (+~5k for Plastic)

I also take a look at the rates for poduction of Plastics and Sulfur, if you have use advanced oil procesing, crack every biproduct and have all slots filled with productivity modules you will need 11.2k Crude Oil per RocketDefense.

And last but not least the count of Mining Drills and depleted Pumpjacks needed to feed a 60 TDH factory: 980 Iron, 1235 Copper, 1870 Pumpjack, 140 Coal
