Another lighting form?

In the game there is only one lighting device and that is a small light that sits on the ground and takes up one square unit that could have been used for something else. Could there be a version of an electric pole that has a light and uses as much electricity as a regular light, still preforming the same duties as an electric pole?

Lighted electric poles, now THAT's a great idea.

Great idea or let us put the lights on poles that have already been placed. Most play throughs I watch people try to do that so I think allowing it would make the game more intuitive.

Great idea! I think it would be pretty easy to implement, and be a huge improvement. Would also be cool if they had like spotlights that can go on poles, so you could light up areas of your base more. :D

Should I join this thread into that?

This may need to be moved to the suggestion board but I'm not sure a pole with 30 responses from 2013 is going to stop people from suggesting it again.

Oh, no, it is so: the devs have a plan. And on the todo list for this plan we will find surely something about "review lights".

When they decide to make now this point, the devs will begin to make a plan, what they want to implement, and what not. Pure brainstorming, generating options.

And that means, they will be looking around for threads in the suggestion forum.

If they see, this is from 2013, I would mean it will have a little bit different value, than from end of 2014.
