Before travelling into space and landing on this awfull planet, you had a long time on Earth to prepare your exploration mission. 

During this training, you intended a lot of meetings with the company psychiatrist, who thought that it was not the best idea to let you go alone in space driving a 15.000 tons ship at half ligh-speed ; but this is another problem. 

The fact is that you learnt a lot from these conversations with the brain doctor ! Especially about mind control... Quite enough to build a new technology that would give you the opportunity to control alien's mind !

Well this technology is not 100% guaranteed but these new devices should turn quite a few aliens friendly for a moment, and even make them attack their brothers and sisters ! So maybe if you built enough of these mind-controllers, you can save a few lasers or gun turrets...

A controller works on a recharge/emission cycle of 12 seconds. Every cycle, it tams 3-5 aliens in a 25 meters radius.

When iddle, these controllers drain the same power as a laser turret (25kW), but in function, they work on a recharge/emission cycle, needing 10MJ to release a blast, with a smoother consumption than the lasers : they consume less on peak, but take more time to "erase" aliens because they have to kill each others. 
So it could be a good solution to smooth your electricity consumption. And it's so much fun to watch those monsters fighting each others !!! ;-)

You could even organize bets and become a bookmaker. But alas, once again, you forgot that you were alone on this planet and that there is not a lot of gamblers in the area !... :-(

Notes :
Controled aliens become pink (obviously because they are ashamed of being tamed by a stupid human :twisted: ).
Mind control slowly destroys the brain of the aliens. So if, at the end of a large fight, there are a few aliens left and chained-controled, they will slowly die of brain disease.
Mind control sometimes breaks and releases the tamed alien, that becomes uncontrolable for 12 seconds.
When an alien becomes controled, a pink "@" appears on his head. When he is released, a red "x" appears. When he dies of brain disease, a pink "+" appears.
Every important parameter can be tweaked in the config.lua file. I made a lot of testings at end-game to balance this the best I can (using [url=https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=23995]AlienEggs mod[/url] !).
