[1.1.94] game crashes when quiting to the desktop

I try my best to do it the right way!

First of all, I never had a problem with Factorio crashing.

After finishing and saving the game, I went to the main menu of the game. I pressed the red quit button with the intention of quitting to the desktop, but then it crashed.
It gave me an error message from Windows and then I closed it and the game quit. As far as I can tell, nothing was damaged on the save file.
It could be that I was a bit quick with the quitting stuff. (pressing the keys a bit fast (not spam pressing))
